And the winner is….

On Sunday I was tired and cranky.  I’m still tired, but no longer cranky :)

But after I got home from Yoga on Sunday (which I’m still trying to figure out) I decided to give a few bucks away because that usually makes me feel better.  I told you I would let you know who gets the $50 bucks and whether it made me feel better. 

Here goes:

  1. American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer got the $50; and
  2. Yes. I felt better. Not completely better, but better. 

In case you’re wondering, I got called into work on Saturday, which pretty much turned me into a pumpkin until late last night.  I worked until around midnight Saturday, woke up super early on Sunday to hit up Yoga before my bosses resurfaced, worked from then until midnight Sunday, then woke up super early Monday and worked until late Monday evening.  Now it’s back to “normal.”

By the way, anyone know a good “yoga for dummies” type of site where I can find basic questions to help me “appreciate” yoga?  I’ve only been to two classes.  So far, I can sum up my experience in one word: Ouch.  I’m looking to increase my flexibility and relax.  I can see that my flexibility will likely increase (although I’m pretty sure that the only “extra” bending I’ve been able to achieve so far is in “the wrong direction”).  And I haven’t really “relaxed” much yet, but I’m thinking that it’s because I’m just learning.  Oh well.  So I’m not looking for a site to show me “how to yoga.”  I’m more looking for a resource to help me appreciate it.  Does that make any sense?
