Welcome to SAFTM! As you can tell by the title of this blog, the main point is that controlling spending is the most important element of personal finance to me.
I’ve done some stupid things in my life (financial and other!) and I’ve learned from them. I’m sure I’ll repeat mistakes, but not the same way. We’ll talk about those.
I will also post what about my spending from time to time and some thoughts about that.
Most importantly, however, I open this up to comments and invite guest posts. I will post positive and negative comments – feel free to rip my thoughts apart! But I will try to avoid spam. So if I can’t figure out how your comment relates to the site, I won’t post it.
Finally, I don’t exactly know how this will all work because I’m not very tech savvy, but that’s ok. We’ll figure it out together. So share your stories and I’ll share mine.
